Katherine Shew

This is a photography series created in honor of my Oma, Maria. Oma is the german word for grandmother, which is where she was from, Straubing, Germany to be exact. She married my grandfather, an American solider, and left Germany to come to the United States. In her later life she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, and these photographs are meant to show how this disease affected her.
